About
I am a reader, writer, and mother living and working in the Chicago area. In addition to two Master’s degrees (yes, it’s a lot, I know) I’ve had just about every weird job under the sun - from sewing costumes for a circus troupe, to tending a flock of zebra finches in a neuroscience lab, to working the night shift in a psych hospital. This eclectic work history has not been great for generating income, but it sure has given me a lot of material from which to craft my stories.
I am diagnosed as autistic, but I’m also comfortable with the term neurodivergent. Although I am in a loving relationship with my husband, I identify as queer. That, along with the autism, creates a whole blurry mess of identities if you ask me.
When I’m not writing, I spend my time running after my two small children, cuddling my mild-mannered rescue rabbit, and tending to my very neurotic dog.
